Microsoft’s E3 Briefing Conference just ended, and right at the end they officially announced Project Scarlett! In a short ViDoc Xbox employees talked about what the new console was bringing to the next-generation of gaming. The video gave us a glimpse into what to expect from Project Scarlett; including a Solid State Drive (SSD) to help shorten loading times, as well as a custom AMD processor which they said would make it 4 times as powerful as the Xbox One X! Phil Spencer; Head of Xbox, made it clear that Project Scarlett was a console designed for gaming. At the end of the ViDoc Project Scarlett got a release window of Holiday 2020, and along with that we got our 2nd look at Halo Infinite. Launching along side Scarlett, we got our first look at a new trailer, check it out below!
The trailer shows a engineer bringing Master Chief back to life, and giving him some not so great news. 343 has said that Halo Infinite is going to be a “spiritual reboot” for Halo; which will be “a perfect starting point for new players” that have yet to have the pleasure of playing this great series. Later I’ll be giving a full review of the Mircosoft conference and telling you what I’m most excited about. In the meantime comment below and let me know what you thought of the trailer and the reveal of Project Scarlett.
