Respawn’s Jedi Fallen Order was officially announced at E3 2018, and ever since I have been waiting to learn more about what a single player Star Wars game by Respawn would look like, and now we know. Yesterday during EA Play, we got to see a 15 minute gameplay video of Cal Kestis, attack an Empire base, slashing through storm troopers, spider, and flame beetles. The gameplay for Fallen Order feature fluid swordplay and incredible force powers, that showed Cal force pushing enemies, stopping blaster bolts like Kylo Ren, and using force telekinesis on his lightsaber. Also during the demo we got introduced to Forest Whitaker’s’ character Saw Gerrera who was saw in 2016’s Rogue One. Check out the gameplay below!
During an interview for IGN right after the Xbox Conference, Stig Asmussen, Fallen Order’s director told IGN’s Max Scoville and Brian Altano that the game was indeed a story driven single player game, but that exploration would be rewarded. The game encourages back-tracking and using new skills to find new areas of the worlds that you have already been to. In the same interview Stig let loose that there was a 25 minute embargo’d demo shown at EA play, that the public had yet seen which showed off the skill tree, and the level-up system. All in all Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order is definitely on my must play list, and I’m really excited to play in November 15th, 2019. Comment below and tell me what you thought about the demo, and are you excited for Jedi Fallen Order?
