When Fallout 76 came out late last year it was immediately met if some well founded criticism, it featured a lot of bugs, and gameplay issues. Well today both Pete Hines (SVP of Global Marketing) aka Uncle Pete, and Todd Howard (Director at Bethesda Game Studio) acknowledged the shortcoming of the game and even made a joke or two but also reconfirmed their commitment to making the game better.
The first step to the goal is the Wastelanders Update; which will feature NPCs something that was lacking from the release build. A new main quest, choices from dialogue trees that will effect the way people in the game interact with you, also new weapons and gear. We also got a sneak peak at a new 52-player Battle Royale called Nuclear Winter which features PvPvE gameplay. The Wastelanders Update is set to hit Fall 2019, and in the mean time everyone can jump in Fallout 76 June 10th – June 17th for free, and also check out the new Battle Royale mode. The trailer of which you can check out below.
